Yesterday was the day to celebrate me and you, and today was the day to celebrate Papa! He retired from 20 years with the Palmer Police Department and today we "surprised" him with a party. The only real surprise, though, was the number of people who came out to celebrate him. I think he was shocked!

It was so nice that Grandma Lynda and Aunt Kendra were there, too - I think Papa appreciated that.
Your Papa is such a hard worker. little one. He gives his all no matter what, treating people the way he would want them to treat his family. The community here respects and cherishes him and this transition to retired life may be difficult... but I KNOW he is looking forward to babysitting you!!
Yay, Papa! We are so proud of you!
